MEDICATIONS FOR NAUSEA AND VOMITING DURING PREGNANCY

INFOPARENTS.COM: Most expectant mothers are warned, as much as possible not to take over the counter medications during pregnancy. However, under certain circumstances one medication has been shown not only effective, but safe for both mom and baby. According to the The Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada, only one medication has been approved for the use of treating morning sickness during pregnancy. This medication is called Doxylamine succinate/pyridoxine or Diclectin. Always consult your health professional before taking any medication during your pregnancy.
